Example Daily Routine

Daily routines are dependent on children's age and development. Within the structure I aim for routines to be flexible for children's needs and curiosity. Snacks and water are available all day. Indoor/garden play times are a mix of adult led activities (e.g. art activity, songs and stories, fine/gross motor skills activities) and child led activities (e.g. blocks/building, small world toys, sensory or household items).

8:00 - 9:00 Arrive and Breakfast/FREE PLAY

9:00 - 10:00 Outdoor Activity Or Walk

Local activity or visit


- Playgroup at Jubilee children's centre

- Walk to West Ealing library

- Walk to local park or playground

10:00 Nap or Indoor/GARDEN Play

12:30 Lunch

1:30 NaP

4:00 - 5:00 Outdoor activity or Walk

5:00 Tea

5:30 - 6:30 Pack up and Pick up
